in the garden…

This was written by a guest author and one of my favorite people, Robin Munoz. It is one of my favorite subjects aside from quilting…gardening. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Time in a garden is always well spent.

Planting a garden is more than just tilling the soil.

Planting a garden is more than growing vegetables and plants.

Something unexpected also happens.

Beginning a new garden brings excitement, happiness and contentment.

Perhaps that is why children love to play in the dirt. It gives them joy.

The easy movement of soil in your hands, then the adding of nutrients and seeds.

Soon the warmth of the sun and the springtime rain help nurture seeds and welcome them.

The beauty of your new creation brings signs of life; the sweet sight of new growth where colors and life were once void.

And the best surprise? Growth has happened not just in the garden but in you.

Time in a garden is always well spent.
